Picture

This local heritage group was the precursor of the RLM and still meets regularly. Initially created in response to the threatened demolition of the Rothesay Train Station in 1975, they went on to create the book, Rothesay: An Illustrated History. They started the process of interviewing community members which are now available on the RLM website. Several founding members of the RAHT also serve on the RLM.

Our deepest appreciation to the descendants of Mr. Basil Steed for allowing the use of his pen and ink sketch for this webpage and RAHT stationery.
